Dear Yogi/Yogini,
Congratulations on deciding to include Yoga in your life! Whether you're starting or furthering your spiritual journey with our course, becoming a yoga teacher is a big responsibility that requires discipline. The spiritual path includes unexpected healing, growth, and transformation. To properly accept this practice, start with an open heart and an empty head.
We have approved our Code of Conduct, which applies to all of our teachers. Our teachers are responsible for providing a secure and nurturing environment for students to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our Code of Conduct requires teachers to uphold the highest ethical standards. Our Code of Conduct follows the ethical guidelines outlined in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, which apply to all yoga practitioners.
Teachers must comply with legal and business requirements, ensure accurate and fair advertising of yoga benefits, treat employees, students, colleagues, and other wellness businesses fairly, and follow sustainable practices in their professional and personal lives.
Teachers are responsible for maintaining and improving their professional knowledge and ability, striving for excellence through regular assessment of strengths and weaknesses, and ongoing education and training. Teachers must keep up with new advancements in yoga through practice and study.
